Nokia has recently unveiled their upcoming music phone namely the X3. Running on Symbian S40, this slider phone offers a 2.2-inch QVGA screen with 240 x 320 resolution, a 3.2-megapixel camera with full focus and 4x zoom, a 46MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), dedicated music keys, stereo speakers, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports direct access to Ovi store for downloading games, videos, podcasts, applications and much more. AT&T has just introduced the Mural Flip from Nokia. It is actually a basic 3G handset that comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera, a microSDHC memory card slot, and integrated messaging and social networking capabilities. The handset will be available at selected AT&T stores and online from September 6th onwards for $49.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate. [Press Release]

Vodafone and LG have joined together to release the LG GM750, a new Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone that should become available across Europe starting October 6th, 2009. The phone is actually an upgraded version of the LG GM730. The handset comes jam packed with a 3-inch touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi, 3G, Microsoft My Phone, Windows Live, a 5MP camera, and LG’s S-Class 3D UI.

U.S. Cellular is set to launch another messaging phone from LG namely the LG Bliss. This new handset is packed with a large 3-inch touchscreen display, a 2MP camera with video recording, a full QWERTY onscreen keyboard, a music player, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a full HTML browser and E-mail Client with new message notifications and Bluetooth connectivity. The LG Bliss will be available at U.S. Cellular retail locations, or via www.uscellular.com starting this month for unannounced price yet

LG has officially confirmed that the LG BL40 Touch Chocolate will be available for purchase on the European market starting mid-September 2009. In case you didn’t know, the new LG Chocolate features a 4-inch wide screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio, support for 7.2 HSDPA for fast Internet browsing with the elimination of side scrolling due to the wider screen, a panoramic multimedia experience, the Dual Screen UI (shows two types of content at the same time), simplified touchscreen navigation, one-touch copy and paste, a wide range of personalization options through wallpapers, themes and ringtones, a slim shape with glossy black finish, as well as a smooth, elegant surface provided by the curved scratch-resistant glass encasing the device. The LG Chocolate LG-BL40 should first become available for purchase on the UK market, with other European countries receiving it in September.

The LIC-iREC03P module from Logitec features a X-Y Style microphone, that will turn your iPhone into a pro audio recording machine. This Logitech-recorder saves your audio as PCM WAV files without any compression. Measuring 52mm x 51mm x 20.3mm, the gadget is also available for the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones, which records to PCM and ATRAC formats. Both models are priced at 10,900 Yen or around $109

XSKN has produced a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod touch namely the iKeyboard. The device is actually a modified Apple Bluetooth keyboard featuring icons on the keys. XSKN will release the iKeyboard by the end of the year for $160 a pop

Samsung is ready to launch their “green” mobile phone, in addition to the existing Blue Earth and Crest Solar. Known as the Samsung S5500E Lydford, it is a slider made out of recycled materials and packaged in recycled paper. The phone has an alarm that lets you know when the phone’s battery is fully charged. The Samsung S5500E Lydford comes equipped with a 2.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of QVGA, a 3-megapixel camera and a slot for microSD memory card. The phone also supports wireless Bluetooth interface and cellular GSM and UMTS / HSDPA

Motorola has announced another ultra-thin clamshell phone ‘MOTO Titan’ for SK Telecom in South Korea. Measuring only 50mm thick, the handset sports a 2.2-inch 262k TFT internal screen, a 1.6-inch 65K external screen with touch-sensitive controls, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 4GB), an MP3 player, SKT T-map GPS navigation, Video on Demand service support, a USB 2.0 interface, Bluetooth and supports both WCDMA2100 and GSM/HSDPA (900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivities.

HTC will release another Google Android powered smartphone, the HTC Tattoo, in Europe in October 2009. The handset will features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen LCD with a resolution of 240 x 320, HTC’s Sense UI, a 3.2MP shooter with auto-focus, a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, and a 512MB of RAM. The phone also supports Quad band GSM/EDGE, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a built in GPS, a digital compass and an accelerometer. No info on pricing so far

Palm has confirmed the availability of their second WebOS smartphone in the form of the Palm Pixi (previously known as Palm Eos or Palm Pixie). The candybar handset features a 2.63-inch (320×400) touchscreen display with a 2MP fixed-focus camera with LED flash, a full QWERTY keypad, and access to the Palm Beta App Catalog, which includes entertainment and social networking applications like Yelp and Local Concerts by iLike. The Pixi also has a rubberized back cover, which is scratch-resistant and durable. The Palm Pixi comes with Palm Synergy, which links your information from Google, Exchange ActiveSync, Facebook, Yahoo! and LinkedIn. Other features include a GPS receiver, a Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP, a 8GB of storage, and a 3.5mm Jack. Unfortunately, the Palm Pixi doesn’t support WiFi connectivity, which is very important feature. Sprint is offering the Palm Pre for only $149.99 (after a $150 instant rebate, a $100 mail-in rebate and with a 2-years contract agreement).
